Carpel Tunnel
Acupuncture

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) involves tight ligaments that constrict the median nerve. The median nerve is responsible for the sensation and movement of your hands. If your median nerve is compressed anywhere on its path, you may begin to notice symptoms like weakness, pain, and tenderness in the wrist and hand. When electric impulses travel across the wrist, nerve signals from the hand become blurred due to muscle constriction, which can cause damage to the somatosensory cortex  (a region in the brain that processes touch). Mild symptoms can often worsen when they are left untreated. In severe cases, this condition could cause severe pain and disability. Traditional Chinese Medicine can help release the tension around your median nerve by relaxing the muscle in your wrist and arm.
